Iyashi Dome

About the Iyashi Dome

For several centuries, the Japanese buried themselves under the warm sand of seashores or hot-spring shore lines as part of a detoxifying ritual. The location they chose to perform the ritual was very specific: an area of great geothermal energy where heat is emitted from the ground, exposed to the natural heat of the sun & copious amounts of sand with unique properties - such as sea-salt.

Once buried, accumulated toxins were eliminated from the body via perspiration.

Research in to the Suna Ryoho has discovered that sand diffuses heat via far infra-red rays.

Far infra-red rays have existing since the beginning of time and are a vital source of development for plants or any living organism, including human-beings. Research conducted by NASA in the 1950's found that these far infra-red rays are essential to the metabolism & growth of all living organisms.

Without far infra-red rays, radiating from 8 to 14 micrometres, no organic life can exist or develop.

In the 1960's the first devices that emitted ceramic-based far infra-red rays were developed in Japan by Dr. Ohno - he also developed radiator heating, central heating systems & water purification. However in the 1980's he focused his research & development solely on far infra-red rays His breakthrough came when he replaced some of the ceramic (a mineral compound) with wood (an organic compound), thus optimizing the quality of the far infra-red rays.

In 1987, a patent for B-Carbon based far infra-red rays for use in wellness & beauty was filed and is protected under patent number 1590079.

The first Iyashi Dome was born.

In 1998 the Shimazu Techno Research Laboratory of Koichi Tanaka (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2002) detected the presence of dioxin for the first tome in the perspiration of a person who had undergone a half-hour session of Iyashi Dome.

The Iyashi Dome has been constantly used and tested in Japan since its development and since 2006, Iyashi Dôme SARL is continuing its clinical research.

The revolutionary Iyashi Dome

Evaluation of weight loss using Iyashi Dome by Dr Joackim Valero

18 volunteers aged from 24 to 57 years of age, were monitored & measured during 16 sessions (each 30 minutes in duration) over a 2 month period

No change in nutritional or physical activity was undertaken for the duration of the study

• Average weight loss of 3.4 kilograms but weight loss up to 6 kilograms was observed

• Average loss of 1 dress size

• Average loss of 2 percent body fat

Compiled results derive from the systematic summation method, before & after

All dealings, including body mass index (BMI), weight impedance, body fat percentage, extra cellular hydration mass were measured with the Tanita BC 418 MA scale before & after each session
